It’s my wife’s fault I’m in real estate. Did I mention that yet? She’s an interior designer and General Contractor. This was her world first. But when she told me I would make a great realtor, I took her word for it.
I suppose she was right. A few great things have happened since that time. I was named a Chicago top 1% of Real Estate Brokers. I’ve bought and sold a lot of homes. Most importantly, I’ve helped countless people turn their assets into homes and their homes into assets.
Over the years, I’ve learned a few important things. First, I love helping people make really good decisions—the kind that benefit them for years to come. Second, I find large brokerages to be impersonal and short sighted (no shade, just how I feel). It’s hard to build a solid connection when team members are continually coming and going.
For that reason, I’ve kept Sell Buy Design a one-man show. When it’s just you and me working together, we have the advantage of time and knowledge on our side.
You deserve a realtor who is more than just a go-between for your home sale or purchase. I consider the relationship between a realtor and a client to be a long-term investment. If you don’t hear from me regularly, I’m not doing my job.
You’re about to make one of the largest purchases (or sales) of your life. You need someone with you who can ask the tough questions, drop a few timely jokes to put you at ease, and answer those real estate questions that crop up five, ten, even fifteen years down the road.
I’m here to help you navigate all the things that come with buying or selling your home in Chicago. Where will my kids go to school? Will this commute get me home in time for dinner? Is this neighborhood going to have good resale value? Is this move worth the investment at this stage in my life?
I bring you all of my experience—as a dad, as the spouse of a contractor, as a realtor, as a human living in Chicago—and together we’ll make some pretty awesome real estate decisions.
